Anyone point me to some resources for machining this slot on a C axis lathe? the modelled slot is 3mm wide, is fusion going to let in a 3mm cutter - can't changed the slot width but suppose could set cutter to 2.9 and use Wear to adjust? cheers, Sean

But am struggling with a Fanuc C axis post, the mill post outputs xyz and I presume I can change the y to c? but it also outputs what I'm assuming is a tool vector ijk for 5 axis?

The turning post failed and the Inverse time A axis failed what ever inverse time is!?

Any post suggestion for Fanuc X Z C ?

The Fanuc A axis post and the Inverse Time post are both milling post processor. Try THIS ONE and let me know your results

Cheers Seth, rather than try it on my file I tried it on the Fusion demo 4th axis file (CAM samples/ultimate/wrapped pocket complete) on the highlighted operation unchanged:

....that failed with your suggested post, any chance you can run the post in your setup on that file? seems to suggest an issue in my install? the failed file suggests to look in the log but there is nothing listed in the task manager.  Cheers, Sean

Hi @Anonymous,

Your problem is that this sample file is a Milling Setup.

Edit the setup and change it to Turning-or Mill/turn

Within the operation, you have only to change 2 Heights settings because they are not there anymore.

Now it will work.
