Lathe toolpath violating model?

I have minimal experience with programming for lathes in F360, i use F360 extensively for milling, but i cannot figure out why the toolpath digs into the model when i do a groove turning operation on this part.(pictured below) any help would be appreciated! hopefully this is an easy fix.

I am going to guess it has something to do with the fact that the tool doesn't fit into the smaller groove off to the right and its throwing some kind of issue because of this. but what do i know!

There seems to be a bug with "Rough Clearing Pass" enabled, on the Passes Tab. Disable that, tighten up all your tolerances (Spun Profile and Toolpath) to .0001" and you will get this:

I'll get a ticket (or see if one is open already) created for this bug

go to wireframe and view it. i believe it still is a problem.

nevermind. on wireframe it still appears to violate the model. but in the simulation it looks fine.

What we see above is the imaginary sharp point of the toolpath. It's adjusted in the kernel and simulation to produce a toolpath that doesn't violate the model

but why doesnt it show it hitting the model anywhere else in this instance? only in that one spot. Just the geometry at that given point?
