Internal Threading

Has anyone had any success with internal threading that they would be willing to share?  I have yet to get it to define a tool.  I want to cut a simple right-hand internal thread.

1. I can't seem to define a tool in the proper orientation

2. I select internal thread but holder does not change

3. When I do get the right orientation but changing spindle direction and tool orientation I get a left-hand thread

4. No Acme thread tools available (not a big deal)

5. Thread pitch will not stay and goes back to .03937 every time I leave the tab??

In this one, the threads are not even on the bore I selected.  Smiley Mad

@mike.mattera the help file needs to be updated, there are no long 3 heights on the radii tab, only 2.

Working on all the Turn - Radii Tab updates for the help docs now.

Already finished the new ToolTips for the Radii tab items.

The attached library has an ID Thread tool.   #11  thread iso double.

Rename the attached file from  .doc  to  .tools

The Forum wont let me attach a .tools file.

Thank you @mike.mattera.

It seems as though that just may work.  I know this is not your fault but how would someone think of facing tool rotated 90 deg for internal threading? Smiley Happy
