Internal threading on turning

Hello, I wanted to learn turning in Fusion 360 but I have found some problem.

I can't get a toolpath for internal threading. It only gives warning "no threads to machine."

I'm attaching my model, if someone could take a look I would be really grateful.

As far as i can tell, stock is not updating after drilling, maybe that's related somehow.

@jas.okon I was able to reproduce this. It seems strange but I suppressed the hole and the thread features and then I simply made a sketch, draw a circle with the same diameter and did a press-pull. And after, I selected this new face for my threading face and it worked.

Check the screencast:

@paul.clauss Could you please check on this?

Bug confirmation and workaround in less than 2 hours, nice 😄

I tried your workaround and it worked! Thank you a lot.

I also narrowed it down to hole feature. If I made a thread in the press/pulled circle it works as well.

Thanks and I hope devs can fix this issue so fewer people are confused.

Hi @jas.okon @ivan.stanojevic

Thanks for posting! It looks like you are seeing an issue in which Fusion will not generate a inside threading operation with the geometry from your design.

I was able to see this issue occur in the design you attached to your initial post, but I was unable to in a new file. I have shown how I recreated your design and did not experience this issue in the screencast below - please let me know if I deviated from your modeling process or if you are able to recreate this behavior in a new file. As I have been unable to recreate this issue in a new file, I am unable to log it as a bug with our development team.

I can also confirm that redoing the hole feature in your file resolved this issue. It may have been that Fusion had some small data/feature related glitch while you were working on that particular feature - we apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused!
