Same:

Yesterday I created a Cam. I can still load the file with valid tool path.

But if i click "Create tooplath" even without any changes I get this error.

It is also not possible to create any new tool path.

Here the error message:

Funktions-Flags aktiviert: milling-continue-rest-machining online-system-library setup-sheet-viewer tool-library-v4-release

Ungültig: Erstellung fehlgeschlagen

Fehler: Interner CAM-Kernel-Fehler. Senden Sie einen Bericht an den Support.

I tested it with multiple files - nearly the same for all.

All files using my Tool nr. 5 are broken. Other tool numbers are working.

Seems also different strategys are broken "3d pocket" as well as "2d contour".

Need urgent help!

Update: Seems to be a bug in the tool library.

If i recreate exactly the same tool again, all Parameters the same - it is working.

But the tool which I use for years now can no longer be used in any CAM... Nor existing once and nor new once.

Same here.

Luckily i posted OP1 to the machine before i updated Fusion but now would be a good time to program OP2. 🙄

For me it seems that every single tool in the tool library is now broken.

Fortunately editing the tool and changing even one letter in its name solves this for me.

As far as I know it has to do with ne naming of the tools. The new Kernel seems to have a problem with toolnames wich have a umlaut like Ä Ö Ü in their names. See also https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-deutsch/fehler-im-cam-bei-neuer-version/m-p/10015391#M2318...

That totally worked for me too, had the swedish character "Ä" in the tool name!

Thanks, now OP2 will happen today! 😁

Yep, this is a known bug that was discovered very late last week, we are working on a fix for it.

The same problem here. I have a Ø symbol in my tools to show diameter symbol. Done this for years, and after last update this suddenly isn't working anymore. Thanks for the work-around.

The CAM Kernel error should now be solved, the update has gone live, the build number is 2.0.9642

You should not have to remove any special characters now.

Pleas let us know if you are still experiencing the issue.

All files will not generate any tool paths now. Get this message with every file, even ones that worked fine for years if I try to re-generate any toolpaths they get corrupted.

@BBK_CAD the post you are replying to is over a year old, it's likely you are experiencing a different issue from the OP. Are you on Windows 7? There is a known issue, give THIS THREAD a read
