How to create toolpath?

Oh man - I have such a love hate relationship with this software sometimes. I'm sure it's user error, but man, I have a hard time generating toolpaths sometimes. Attached is a file, which if someone can show me how to machine the pockets out, I would be eternally grateful. I've tried 2d pockets, 2d adaptive clearing, 3d pockets etc. It gives me empty toolpaths in 3d, in 2d adapative clearing it says the CAM kernel crashed unexpectedly, or won't let me constrain the toolpath inside the correct geometry, or has no passes to link, etc. etc. etc. Help would be greatly appreciated - any of the pockets/dados/any geometry which doesn't cut the whole way through the material is what is giving me fits (except the pocket hole geometry - was just playing around with that and don't need it yet. Thanks in advance,

Here's your file back with some toolpaths laid out. I've made a screencast, but it takes a while to process and upload. I will attach that when it becomes available. Screencast is attached

It's all in the selections. Selecting a Face of a pocket versus the edges of the pocket can yield different results. You also need to define Stock, otherwise it's going to try to cut through everything. I didn't spend any time in Adaptive, I just used 2D Pocket. It's not that Adaptive isn't a perfectly good solution (because it can be), I just decided that woodworking doesn't really need the processing power of Adaptive

Liberty Machine - you are some sort of wizard or warlock, I am sure.

You have saved my evening, and kudos to you! For now I'm going to get cutting, but I'm going to go through that link, and back through and see if I can manage to get it done on my own - might chime in with questions if I get stuck, but thank you again!
