Well, perhaps wording was not correct, in mill-turn jobs we have parts that have mill and turn features. To be able to program turn features we have to mask mill features, otherwise broken round features create problem for Fusion.
So the point is, we don't create spun profile, we acknowledge existence of one by turning on check box, which enables Fusion to ignore mill features while generating tool paths for turning.
It's like tying a nut on one end of a string, holding other end of a string and spinning it, you create an allusion of closed circle when in fact all you have is a string that changes position within that circle.
This allusion of continuous circle is what "fools" Fusion into generating turning tool paths as if there were no breaks or inconsistencies in any of the turned features,........ so by turning on check box in setup, you could say that you created spun profile, there is nothing else to do, you're done with a single click of a mouse.
