How do I create an STL file?

  I'm sure this question has been asked here before, but I've searched and can' t find it.  You're welcome to simply post a link to a solution if that's easier for you.

  I have an AnyCubic Photon Mono X 3D printer that I need to create print files for.  I followed a video tutorial which created a .pwmo file, but the test file that came with the printer was a .pwmx file.  The printer didn't "see" the .pwmo file.  I'm trying to create a .STL file so I can use the slicer software that came with the printer to create a printable file.  I've tried to Export the file as a .STL file, but after working on it for a few minutes the program return a "Failed" message with no explanation.

  Please help if you know of a solution.

Hi!

Should be as simple as: File > Export > Choose the desired format

@coledunlay just out of curiousity, have you tried Fusion native 3D printing capabilities, and if so, did you run into any problems?
While exporting an .stl and using standalone slicer software is a possible workflow, I'm seeing that we do have support for the Photon Mono, I'd be curious to see if there's any difference with the Mono X

Thank you for your reply.  That is the method I was using when getting the results described.  Later, I stumbled upon a video which showed to a couple of different ways.  I chose to select the body in the browser, right click, and select 

3D Print.  This brings up a dialog box that allows you to save as an STL.  So, now I have an STL file.  I'm just trying to figure out how to use that to get the type of file I need for my printer.

  Thank you for your reply.  Yes, there is a tutorial here on how to use the Native 3D print system.  I used that and it is how I got the .pwmo file, but the test file that came with the printer is a .pwmx file.  There is a selection box during the tutorial for changing the file type, but .pwmo is the only option.  This is why I'm trying to use the software that came with the printer.  

  After I posted this question, I stumbled upon a video which showed to a couple of different ways.  I chose to select the body in the browser, right click, and select 3D Print.  This brings up a dialog box that allows you to save as an STL.  So, now I have an STL file.  I'm just trying to figure out how to use that to get the type of file I need for my printer.  I had been having trouble opening the Photon Workshop 64 slicer that came with the printer, but this file did allow me to open the software.  So, I'm making small steps of progress.
