I have attached the issue image. These were the toolpaths that were saved in my CAM programs for a while and were posting successfully. Now, I came back to the CAM to update something and all of the 2D pockets are throwing this error. And, not limited to one file per se.

Let's say, as per the recommendation, I update the stepover amount, the toolpath generates. But, after a while, say if I was to regenerate the program due to a change in an upstream program, the error comes back and the stepover amount is in red again.

So, this is for a 10mm dia tool with a very large square base I am trying to finish. 4mm stepover shouldn't cause this problem.

Have any tools been changed, the stepover is calculated from the tool dimensions so if a tool has been changed to a smaller size then the original stepover setting may be too large.

Check the tooling in your Tool Library 🙂 🙂

No, nothing's changed. Haven't even touched the library.
As I mention, these are the cam programs which I had done previously, but now revisiting to see if some improvements can be made. So, when I loaded the program, everything was fine, green checks(I have the feature enabled to see if in-stock is read or not).
Then, I updated some roughing passes before, and decided to generate the whole setup as I wanted to see If any changes to the in-stock preview. That's when the toolpath, which was working fine had this error. Although the toolpath still exist and the following programs are still generating with the updated stock.. That's why this error seems odd to me.

Weird, the only way that I can replicate your issue is to set the Max stepover as 4 mm (then a space then a slash) /, I can`t see from your image if there is anything after the mm in your file, are you on a MAC, your warning is different to mine ???

Could you share a file that is showing this error?
File > Export > Save to local folder, return to forum and attach the .f3d file in your reply

When you hover over the Stepover field and select "Edit Expression":

What is displayed in the resulting text box?

I am unfortunately not at liberty to share the file with you as this part is under NDA. However, I recorded the steps so that you can see for yourself.

@engineguy Not on mac, and hopefully from the video, you can see what I mean.

Can you replicate this same issue in a file you can share?

While it's under NDA, would you be able to share the file privately via email? I totally understand not being able to post it to the forums, but as an Autodesk employee, we take the utmost care with customer files and the discretion they require
