Having issue running this program!!!

Hello,

I'm enclosing the g code for this program that throws an alarm: Z. I'm also enclosing the F360 CAD CAM file. I hope someone can let me know what I'm doing wrong. Please note all my other .nc programs run fine. Thank you

Is the code you posted above what you're actually sending to the machine?

Can you put the actual g-code file as well as another GOOD file into a .zip folder and attach that here?

What post processor are you using?

Yes this is the code here it is again. sorry for not having them in Zip. The first [Retainer Ring Cut Off 1"] is the problem .nc. The second works fine. Thank you very much

Please refrain from copy/pasting a whole shedload of nc code. The SPAM filter often picks those up and sends the entire thread to the trashcan

What's the actual alarm and when does it occur in the program; right at the onset, partway through, all the way at the end?

I home the machine then jog the head to the work coordinates and zero in. Send home again then and hit run. The Z axis travels up to the limit switch and causes an "Alarm: 2" and "Alarm: Z" I have to stop the program and reset.

Did this happen right after running some good code, or is this happening from a fresh boot up? Looking at the header and footer, both of them seem to be quite identical.

In this image, I've removed everything related to the actual cutting and just left the beginning and end of the program (where the issue is occurring)

I believe I solved the issue. I opened F360 and created a drawing with a small Diameter. Then I created  g code file and ran it successfully. What I may have done originally is to try to machine an object that is too large for the specs on my machine. I have a bench top and the working area is 4"x16"x16". I may have exceeded those limits causing the Alarm Z.  Does this sound logical??
