Haas Next Gen Control Post

Hello all,

I am trying to post out code using the Haas Next Gen Control post processor.  Every time my B tilt axis rotates down to the desired -90 degrees, the X code is on the wrong side of the work offset (positive instead of the needed negative).  I have DWO/TCPC enabled on both the control and post.

I have tried switching axis directions, offset directions, ect with no luck.  I am desperately looking for some guidance.

How is the trunnion located on the machine, can you supply a photo so there's no misunderstanding on our part?

It is on the right side of the table.  I have the necessary reversed files loaded to use this configuration.  When I manually enter code into the machine to test how it rotates and indicates, it works fine.  When I post code from Fusion it consistently puts the X moves on the wrong side of the offset.

We had this issue as well, it comes down to making sure B-90 is actually B-90 on the machine and your operation WCS is correct with how it ACTUALLY sits on the machine.

Please click "Accept Solution" if what I wrote solved your issue!

I have tried changing my orientation and every time it is always opposite to what I need.  Especially when the set up is mimicked in the software as it is in the machine.

Could I trouble you for a short bit of code? Not only what Fusion is giving you, but what YOU would adjust by hand. Nothing complex, just a simple contour cut at A0.B0. and again at other angles of inclination

Also, are you using the STOCK Haas post? Can you share a sample file that I could use to run some tests?

I am using the AutoDesk Haas Next Generation Control post.  I have not changed anything within the post code as I do not know what to change.
