grooving is skipping features

I have a blade that i am turning, i am using a series of roughing operations with a nvmg insert and a finish pass with a turning/grooving tool holder. The problem is that in the cam side its leaving stock on either ends and is skipping the chamfer on either end. thoughts?

ok, i thought i figured it out and thought id leave this up in case anyone can relate. But the insert geometry in the tool list was set incorrectly. the computer thought the insert couldnt cut deep enough to reach these features so be mindful of inputting the most accurate geometry possible. Turned out not to be the case so much.
