Gcode generated in post is offset several inches

Just spent the last couple hours trying to beat my head around an issue with my CNC, but it turns out that it's probably Fusion that's the culprit. Long story short, Fusion is engraving the right shapes at the right size, just off about -4 in the x direction and 1 in the y direction.

I am engraving some markings on a part (blacked out to remove personal information), and as you can see from the model screenshotted, there is nothing in the negative direction on the X axis. All geometry is in the IV quadrant, so it should never be sending me to -x, but when I'm looking at the Gcode, I see things like G1 X-4.7109 Y-0.3952 and so forth. Most of the coordinates given are somewhere around X=-4.7, which makes zero sense, because there is nothing to be engraved over there.

I'm sure there's a setting somewhere regarding this, but I'm new to fusion, so in the meantime I'm completely lost as to why it's just offsetting everything.

There is a difference between your model coordinates and your machining coordinates. You set you machining coordinates in the Manufacturing tab under setup.

Hi @Anonymous

This sounds like you have your manufacturing setup set incorrectly. Any chance you could attach the file or attach a screenshot of the setup tab settings in fusion?

Cheers

Thanks, everyone—I had to check my WCS settings within Fusion. That solved the issue.
