Fillet problems

Hi I'm trying to use a 3/16 end mill to remove material for a fillet.  I tried both pencil and contour with out much luck.  I cut up the model and have attached it.  Thanks

If there is a better way to do this I'm open to suggestions.

Hi,

You are using 3/16 ball mill which has 0.09375 corner radius.

The radius of the fillet which you want to machine is 0.1 in.

So the difference between your tool radius and fillet radius is 0.1 - 0.09375 = 0.00625 in, and that is the value that you have to type in the overthickness box in order to detect pencil passes.

 You also have to play with the tolerance parameter and don't forget to select fillet surfaces in geometry tab.
