Hi

There is now one For Heidenhain, Siemens and Fanuc, You must add the Machine connector capability to the Machine definition:

Then you can pick it here

I'm not Familiar with Fanuc but the Heidenhain uses DCOM which is only available on the TNC640/620 as an option(18), and some newer iTNC530(and TNC7 but there's not many of those around yet)

Do I need to download a connector?

I left the "Machine Connector Path" blank and when I tried running it, it gave the following error:

Where can I get the connector? I couldn't find one on the machine library.  I'm running a Fanuc RoboDrill.

I'm not sure TBH

There only appears to be a Machine connector application for HAAS controls.

I don't have a Fanuc controller so cannot test this.

@seth.madore Do you know where the machine connector apps are for the other controls? Fanuc Heidenhain Seimens?

Or are they not actually need for those controls?

Oh, they're very much needed. It does appear that we haven't yet released them to the public. Let me check in with some folks who might know what the status is on them 🤔
