How do I bore expanding holes? The path is flipped the wrong way, not like the model. Is it possible?

Do you mean you need to make an undercut? You can do this with 3D Contour and Ramp IIRC but it will be "surfaced" which means stepdown will matter.
But yes, it is possible.
