Engraving Single Line Font on a cylinder 3-Axis

I have a job in where I need to Engrave a part number on the OD of a cylinder. I typically use single line fonts for engraving along with the 2D Trace. How can I wrap the single line font around the surface? I tried using the "project to surface" tool in a sketch but was only able to select the construction lines around the font. I will be using a 3-Axis machine to do this with a ball endmill.

I came up with a solution that works. Though I am not entirely happy with the results and I hope there is a better option. Attached are some screenshots. I extruded the single line font as a surface and then trimmed the surface with the face of the cylinder. I then used the 2D Trace to engrave the text with a small ball endmill.

I have not had to do it yet, but create a sketch that represents you cylinder unwrapped (a rectangle) create your text in the sketch and then wrap that toolpath for those letters.

John, I tried this as well, but it creates a 4-Axis toolpath and I will be using 3-axis to do this

Does the attached file help using the project toolpath direct from the text. In the future it would help if you exported your f3d file and attached. Also please don't attach pictures. There's an option Photos on the editor toolbar to embed them, please use this option.
