Eding CNC 4th Axis

Hello,

I've been grappling with a challenge related to my CNC setup and was hoping to seek some guidance.

I currently have a 4th axis integrated into my CNC machine, operating with an Eding CNC USBCNC V4.00 RC 1. Despite numerous attempts, I've encountered difficulties in creating an appropriate toolpath for it using Fusion 360. The primary issue arises from Fusion's default setting, where the 4th axis is typically stationary, whereas in my setup, it dynamically moves with the spindle, as illustrated in the attached figures.

In a previous preprocessor I utilized, there was an invaluable feature that allowed me to specify the radius distance from the tool tip to the center of rotation.

I would greatly appreciate any assistance or insights that could be provided to help overcome this challenge.

I believe your CNC machine configuration works with the normal head-tilt type machine configuration.
Also, I don't think the pivoting issue would be much of a problem if your CNC controller comes with a TCP function?

Thankyou @Anonymous. I've set up the head-til and worked fine. Unfortunately, my CNC controller does not come with a TCP function. Do you have any suggestions on how I can overcome this?

The problem you are having seems to be solved by unchecking the TCP option for the tilt axis of the machine kinematics.
