Hey!

When I change the values of a tool, the decimal places are no longer displayed until I reopen the tool management.

I just noticed that not only are the values displayed incorrectly, but the average values are also being transferred incorrectly to the operations! Disaster!

I have noticed this behavior for quite some time. The interesting thing is that when I do the same thing in the web browser, it works perfectly.

I have not reported this behavior until now because my GPU does not meet the minimum requirements for Fusion.

Thanks

@Christoph_360 when you say "I've noticed this for some time", can you elaborate on how long this has been going on?

@seth.madoresince the November 2025 update

I also had problems with the tool graphics in the Tool Library, but as I said, my GPU does not meet Fusion's minimum requirements.

Turning - Tool Libary - The Insert is not displayed correctly in the graphic.

Thanks

Christoph

I've seen this behavior in one private discussion with a third individual, and the one thing I think you all have in common is the language that Fusion is set to (German, I think). Do you use a comma or period mark for decimal notation?

Could you try setting Fusion to:
1) Decimal notation with a period (".")

2) Setting your computer language to English

@seth.madore

I try to use always a "."

I have for this setup "," to "." on calculator pad

@Christoph_360

I have also graphic problems with tools in toollibrary. It looks this way :

marcustoepke_0-1770640270055.png and the shading is a littlebit strange marcustoepke_1-1770640329245.png

after restart it is short time normal:

Setting my entire computer to English could be difficult at work. I'm practically drowning in safety regulations here!

Okay, I've now tried it at home. Switching the operating system to English didn't help in my case, the error persists.

marcustoepke_0-1770687765411.png

I tried it with existing work examples as well as newly created ones.

I tested existing tools and created new ones.
I tried US English and UK English.
During these tests, I felt like a real scientist! 😎

@seth.madore

I just have to vent my anger here!
I've now realized that this crap is slowly but surely destroying my cutting tool numbers of flutes and other tool data.

I found a old backup, in this data all is good!

Your frustration is well placed, and I can only offer my apologies.

Are you using the Production or the Insider build?

All good, all good!

It was only a moment where I must write down my feelings 😉

I mean I use the production build

@marcus.toepke in your screenshot further up you showed that you changed the "Display Language" to English, and it had no effect. I believe the setting you need to change is located in the same place, but a little bit lower in a "Region" section. The relevant options are the "Country or Region" and "Regional Format".

Could you try changing these and see if it resolved the issue for you?

Thanks,

Chris

Sorry, I accidentally clicked on “Accept solution”!^^

After I switched Windows back to English, the error is no longer there, even when I switch back to German.

marcustoepke_0-1771101478744.png

However, that's at home; I haven't been able to test it at work yet.

I can only test it on Tuesday at work.

Even if it worked with the English version of the system, I couldn't use the solution because some of the post-processor and Windows elements would be in English, and I need them in German, at least when generating the tool list.

Let me put it this way: if it suddenly starts working with the German version, for whatever reason, that would be great!

I had exactly the same problem. For the life of me, I couldn’t understand what had happened.
The problem also carried over to my new computer.

Changing the language seems to have solved it. 🙌

Good morning,

I had the same problem, and it kinda solved for itself, but the only thing I did was updated graphic card drivers.

Language changing isn't a solution for international community in my head.
