Creating a machine bed

Hi, 

I am hoping to create a machine bed that CAM doesnt register, I have created the machine bed in Design but when I add a part and go to manufacturing it tries to manufacture the bed, is there a way of telling Fusion to ignore that design and focus only on the added part?

Is the machined bed and part different components/bodies? That's the first thing we need to make sure of, after that, selecting your machine bed as your 'fixture' inside of your manufacturing set up and making sure you haven't selected the bed as the 'model'. @Anonymous

Hi Dylan thanks for the reply I have attached a photo of my design of the machine bed, I have seen the fixture setting in CAM, is there a way of selecting and using all components in my drawing or do I have to have only 1 body/component?
