create material at an angle

we had to mill a pocket in soft jaws at 16.128 deg so we could cut a flat from the side at that angle. I need to create my material at that angle so I can use 2d adaptive clearing  without a lot of wasted motion. Is there a way to do this or some other way so my boss doesn't come by and see me just cutting air till it gets to the stock. My stock is 3/8 X 2 X 4.7. Rotated 16.128 deg

You're going to need to model the stock in the Design workspace and then select "Stock From Solid" in your Setup.

Furthermore, 2D Adaptive isn't going to recognize that there's no material in some areas and will continue cutting air anyways. Use 3D Adaptive and Containment Boundaries instead
