Create Component from Body invalidates tool paths

I have a part file where I do the following in this order:

create my sketches

do my extrusions

create my setup

define my tool paths

simulate

Everything works fine, now I Create Component from Body. all of the tool path I created loose there curve selections except for the facing operation (no path selection because using stock contour).

Why are curve selections lost?

You changed the model setup so yes it will fail, do the Create Component from Body before you do the toolpath.
