Cloud posts not syncing with team

I'm having some issues with this. From reading some other related posts I don't think I'm the only one. I tried a full restart of the system. My entire team is having this issue.

Hi Jeff,

Here are the two most recent logs.

I still don't know how to execute the rescan command you mentioned.

I'm not sure how to enter text commands in fusion. Is there a quick guide to doing that?

In the File dropdown, there's a View submenu. In that, you'll see "Show Text Commands". You can type in the text command in the lower (small) text area.

Thanks. I see other errors on your log, aside from the problem with the diagnostic logs.

Can you confirm that you have sufficient disk space on the drive that contains %localappdata%, and that you are able to create files in that area (manually)?

Jeff,

The drive has over 64 GB of free space and yes, I just created a file there.

Is one of the other errors that Fusion keeps downloading the same update? I've gotten the May update at least 3 times and the June update twice (the second of which should be in those logs).

I entered that command and now things seem to be updating on my machine. Will it stay that way or do I need to run it every time I want things to sync? When I run the command on a different machine I get this error

Traceback (most recent call last):
File "<string>", line 1, in <module>
NameError: name 'wipmds' is not defined

Hmmm. Might be worth posting specific posts about those problems in the Support forum, where others can hopefully chime in?

Hey @Billy.conturo,

In the text command panel on the computer you saw the problem for, on the bottom right of the panel you should see 3 radio buttons - one for "Txt", one for "Py", and one for "Js".

In order to run this specific text command, you need to make sure to have "Txt" enabled.

Thanks,

Noah

Ah yes, of course. Sorry about that. I'm running around doing a thousand things today.

@jeff.pek

Actually, the dropdown dialogue in the post config still isn't realizing I deleted files from the CAMposts assets. The text command seemed to have no effect.

 to produce the problem:

close fusion

delete cache

delete contents of CAMposts assets folder in browser

open fusion

no posts in config dropdown

close fusion

upload a few posts in browser to CAMposts

open fusion

cache is created

posts listed in config dropdown

close fusion

delete all posts again for CAMposts assets folder in browser only

open fusion

posts still listed in config dropdown  <--- cache didn't update

So we are back where we started. To consolidate things I reposted my issue in this message with the step by step to produce the problem.

And, with this, running the "rescan" command still didn't help?

Can you send me a recent log file?

Thanks. I hope we're able to get to the bottom of this, and get a fix going.

This bug just keeps getting worse! Now when I upload a CAM post to replace an existing one (same name) Fusion is still executing the old one. The list of CAM posts I'm seeing doesn't match what's in the Assets Folder - some are missing and others that were deleted days ago are still there.

I've reset my cache and run rescan and nothing seems to help.

After seeing these missing cloud posts on my two Win 10 machines, I just tried it on my MacBook Pro and it reports no cloud posts (there should be 4 of them). Everything else in the cloud - templates, tool libraries and projects are all fine. The assets folder and the web interface all list the posts but the CAM section doesn't see them or sees the wrong ones.

I really hope this gets fixed in the next release.

This is NOT solved with the latest update.

I'm still having the same problem with the CAM not seeing the correct cloud posts. I have 3 machines - 2 Win 10 and one MacBook. They all see different things in the cloud library and none of them are correct.

Ya, I spoke too soon. It seemed to be working at first but now it's not. I'm going to have to put our posts on a google drive for now until it's worked out.
