Cloud CAMTool library lost

Hello everybody,

I've lost my cloud tool library. I've discovered that my tool library was out of sync on one of my two Windows PC where I use F360. Reading on the forum I've found a suggestion to clear the local cache to fix the sync issue. Unfortunately, after this action all files in the cloud folder Asset/CAMTools are gone.

Local chache in my view should not delete anithing in the cloud.

I'm a bit frustrated about that, considering the effort spent building the library, there is something I can do?

Many thanks in advance for the support.

Hi -

What is the current situation of the library files in your web view and side panel inside Fusion (in the "Assets" project)?

When you cleared the cache, what exactly did you do, and did you do it while Fusion was running or not?

Currently there is nothing in the Asset>Libraries>CAMTools, neither from F360 gui nor from web page.

Capture.PNGCapture3.PNG

There was 5 libraries files.

Thanks again for the support,

Let me see if I can get someone to restore those; it does appear that they've been deleted.

I'll have to see what that "Clear Cache Data" does; I hope it's not actually causing this sort of problem...

Can you also send me your login id, and whether you're using a team hub (if you don't know, then you're not).

Thanks!

Hello Jeff, restore would be fantastic :-).

The original problem was a sync between two PC's.  On the second PC, this morning, I didn't found the change of yesterday did using another PC. As far as i know this issue is still open and there is a dedicated thread. Despite out of sync, I was able to see the libraries until the clear chache.

My login id is ICVDOK. I've no idea about what you mean about team hub.

If you need logs or any other info just let me know.

Hi again -

I'm trying to get someone to help with this, but they're not finding your account under that ID.

Can you let me know the e-mail address you use with Fusion, as well as the login that you use with it?

Thanks,

  Jeff

Having the full URL once you're logged into your web view would be useful too.

Thanks!

Hello Jeff, I've sent the requested info via PM.

Quick update, I've started a old and dismissed PC with fusion installed and i was able to find my cloud tool libraries (despite not latest but a recent version), even if the cloud folder are still empty, strange but fortunately I've a valid backup to restore :-).

My learned lessons: Backup everything weekly and stay away from Clear cache button ;-).

Cloud libraries sync is still an issue in my view but there is a dedicated topic for that.
