Cannot import tool library

Greetings all,

I am unable to import a tool library into Fusion. I've been using HSMworks and we are going to migrate into Fusion. I have several libraries for specific machines that I want to import into Fusion. I did an online search and it says to go into the tool library and in the LH panel to right click on "Local" or "Cloud". I don't have either one of these libraries. How do you import a tool library if neither of these are present?

You make them present 😄

For Cloud Libraries, go into your Preferences and navigate to this:

For Local, you just need to right click on Local and create a Library:

Also, at the very bottom left corner is a toggle for "Show Turned Off Libraries". Make sure that's ticked:

Thank you, I now see the cloud library but, I don't see the local library nor did I see an option to turn that one on

I'm literally having the same issues, and I followed the steps and it still has not allowed me to  import a library.

Paste into a library, not a folder!

Please click "Accept Solution" if what I wrote solved your issue!

I DM'd you, I'm more of a newbie to Autodesk, but highly familiar with other platforms. So I'm not sure what you mean by paste into a library, not a folder. Could you elaborate? Sorry Autodesk stuff is not as intuitive to me as others like SolidWorks.   I can right click on local and it gives me the options but not on Cloud.

No, this still does not solve my issue of right clicking on the "cloud" library and importing or pasting. Nothing when I right click on "cloud" library seems to change.

But I can bypass this step for the assignment and put all this stuff into my local library, which temporarily solves the issue for the assignment.

Oh, you're a student? Has your instructor set Permissions to prevent any upload/edit of Cloud Libraries?
