CAM Assigning a new home position

Okuma's  have several options for where the table positions at the end of the program and are defined by G30 Px. We can set those positions as user preference on the machine control but not having any success editing the post to out the needed code. Right now I just edit the posted code but sometimes I forget so would like to just change the post.

 

Right now, I'm trying to edit in G30 P10 as the home position for this part run.

 

Using the edit post configuration I find,

 

} */ // block commented out for G30 P1 home position NStein Mar.1.2017
forceXYZ();

 

If I change it to G30 P10 it still outputs G30 P1 when posting. I'm not finding any other reference to G30 in the post code, any Ideas?

Okuma M560 OSP 300 control.

The section you're looking at in the previous forum post is inactive. Earlier you should see this line (line 1298):

 

writeBlock(gMotionModal.format(0), gFormat.format(30), "P1"); //new retract NStein Mar.1.2017

 

so you will want to change the "P1" to "P10" but I have added a post option in the dialogue called tablePosition to the one attached so it can be changed on the fly, which makes more sense IMO. Set the value to whichever P number you want it to output. Default is set to 1. A quick test outputs this code:

 

N851 M09
N852 M05
N853 G30 P10
N854 M30
