Bugs. Sync view with active setup and sync viewcube.

I find the sync view and viewcube with active setup quite useful working on assemblies but there is a bug when you select a folder or pattern, the view and viewcube go back to the document settings.

Here when I activate a setup I get the correct view i want.

But when I select a folder within the setup it switches to this orientation.

Hi @HughesTooling @programming2C78B this is a known shortcoming of the original sync view implementation. We do have a ticket for this. I will find it a post here shortly.

If you feel this is something that would be useful we can look into making it behave (i.e when activating a folder) as if the setup was being activated.

Yes this is definitely useful. It's quite irritating trying to work with patterns and folders that make the part rotate to a different orientation all the time. The sync view cube and sync view are really helpful working in assemblies and on parts machined on several sides but having the view change just because you activate a folder is distracting.

EDIT. Also if this is looked at and improved, when a folder or pattern is activated it should not change the view at all. I would not want it to act like I've selected a different setup and reset the view and zoom out.

@programming2C78B I think Fusion might have started (since last update) to allow activate view sync on folders (as part of some recent work). Previous that would have been ignored. I will look into this more once I get some time.

I imagine the fix will be to keep allowing folders/patterns to be activated but then fetch the setups transformation.
