[BUG] Using Exported Mesh from Simulation as Stock not working anymore

I assume using the exported simulation mesh as stock for the next operation is a somewhat official workflow (?) - at least it's propagated here and there in the forums or on youtoube.

But since the last Update there appears to be a bug where even though the mesh appears to be positioned correctly the WCS/Toolpaths go all over the place. 3D Adaptive even cuts right through my model.

This has already been reported in this thread, however since the title is not representative and this is quite a huge bug for me i thought i open a new one. Pictures / Screencasts are provided in that thread by another user.

Sorry for the huge inconvenience. This is a known bug and development is working on a fix for this. No ETA on when it will go live..

For anyone else, here's a workaround I put in the other thread linked.

Although not a recommended workflow normally, just as a workaround you could use Mesh to Brep.

See screencast. Note I confused myself a bit as when switching to the design workspace I was in the patch workspace and mesh to brep is only in the model workspace. Also note the workflow is slightly different for a design with history. If anyone wants a screencast of that just upload an example design.
