**Editing this original post - the problem is still present, not fixed. Apologies thought it was fixed before**

When copying and pasting a setup from a similar part, the tool and parameters change unexpectedly.

I use a simple copy and paste method with most of my programming work to save time. I simply re-point the missing tool paths, top and bottom selections, etc. After this recent Fusion update, when editing the copied operations to correct the missing selections (contour, drill, pocket, etc.), the tool and parameters change unexpectedly causing a big headache now.

Step 1 - Paste copied Drill operation w/ 1/4'' cutter (showing the missing selections error):

Step 2 - (R click, Edit) to fix the operation by reselecting the missing hole faces and depths - the tool changes instantly to something else:

*UPDATE & correction* - This is still not fixed

Did you have any interaction with the tool selector "drop down" that's present in the toolpath UI now?

Hi Seth - Yes, (and I love the new drop down btw) - but initially just to check that the intended tool was still in the library.

Just not sure why the copied tools would be unexpectedly bumped out of the way. After doing a sign out / sign back in and restart,

it now works as before and I'm breathing a big sigh of relief.

Just to warn you though about that drop down: there have been some reports of it not selecting the proper tool, so do take care to verify that it is in fact correct. We are working on a fix and hope to get it out in a future update.

Agreed - just ran into it again - very much a pain in the ...

However, the sign out / sign back in trick does seem to correct it for awhile.

Is this the same or additional bug ( video attached )?

When copy toolpath from other file - tool speed & feed`s are default for tool from library. But when open 2nd time - feed and speed changed and they are from copied document.

I think all must be copied from document from 1st time .
