Bug report; 2D Contour, Lead-In with Stock Contours enabled

I think I found a small bug, but I'd like to be proven wrong.

2D Contour. Stock Contours enabled. Comp set to Computer. Roughing passes set to a large value (Fusion trims it anyway). Lead-In and Out turned on, same values. I'm not getting Lead-In moves, only Out.

@LibertyMachine  I am pretty sure this has happened in HSMWorks also.  I will test it out when I get to the shop but IIRC it has done this before and was reported.  Maybe it was fixed that time and just cropped up again.

@LibertyMachine@Lonnie.Cady is correct, this was reported elsewhere and has been fixed.

Update will go out in APX 2 weeks

Note, I love to engage on the forums. However, I spend a lot of time in meetings trying to help clear the path for our amazing team of Developers working on Manufacturing at Autodesk. So, if I don't respond immediately, it's not that I don't care.

You may have given me kudos too soon.  I think I read the issue too quickly.

I was addressing an issues that we just fixed where trimming the toolpath to stock trimmed too much of the toolpath.

This one is slightly different.  We will need to dig a little deeper.

The toolpath is plunging safely outside of the stock.  But, the lead-ins are still in fact trimmed.

@al.whatmough (I can remove the "Accepted Solution, not the kudos)

Hmm. Interesting.

Did you see my other thread about the plunge feedrates? Related?

Hi @LibertyMachine

I just wanted to jump in to let you know that I have logged this issue as CAM-5921. As Al mentioned, the CAM development team will be looking further into this issue. Thank you for bringing this to our attention!
