Best toolpaths to use

Hey y'all, I'm having difficulties figuring out the best toolpaths to complete this part. I've studied and tried different things but haven't used anything outside of the normal 3D adaptive, flow and parallel on the 3D side of things, so it is making it quite difficult. I know this would probably relatively simple, if I knew what other toolpaths would be most efficient. I have attached a step file of the part. Mat'l is 7075 ALUM if you need to know. If someone could please help me out, I would very much appreciate it.

"3D adaptive, flow and parallel" will make all of that part. What are you missing out on? Where is your CAM setup? Machine? Available tooling?

I attached the step with the path I have as of now. It's not that I'm missing out, I'm just not too confident in it, as I feel that there is probably a much better/more efficient way to do this. The machine is a haas vf2ss, 3 axis, and the tools are: 1/2 rougher, 1/2 finisher, 1/4 bn, and i have the drills according to each hole dia. Tools aren't an issue as i have access to many more. I'm just self taught and come here to learn much from experienced programmers.

Hi

 

A step file is no good as it does not contain any toolpath data.

 

You need to export the file in the Fusion native format .f3d/.f3z

.f3z files will need to be zipped to upload to the forum due to a forum bug

I'd do Parallels on the flats and Contour/Ramp/Geodesic on the angled walls. 

.002" stepover is quite small IMO. .005" at least. 
Your feed can be WAY higher (200%). Remember that you're re-cutting with every pass.

Ok that makes sense now that I've played with it a little, Thank you! On the angled and vertical walls, would you run the cutter vertically or horizontally? Which would give the best finish?

Nevermind, just realized it doesn't give the option to change pass direction. I appreciate your help very much!

in general you always surface in the "long" direction of your feature to spend less time accel/decelerating
