adaptive clearing can only select one corner at a time per operation

Hi folks i can only select one corner at a time. if i use 4 different ops it will work. selecting 2 or more corners in the same op gives a no stock error.

I'm not sure I followed exactly what you were trying to machine with the Adaptive operation, but here is what I think you may have been going for on the corners.

Also, have you considered using a 3D adaptive option, instead of 2D? If you use 3D adaptive, you don't have to worry about the selections at all, as it uses the model as the driving geometry for the toolpath by default.

Hi thank you for looking. thats not it. i only want to remove the corner stock. not the slot. if you try to select more than one corner you get an error.

Hi @magpiemachining,

 

You mean if we select the 4 corners at the same time, then we cannot get valid toolpath, right?

If so, yes, this is a known issue to us. The reason is that if you extend the toolpath preview areas (the blue ones) from the 4 corners you can imagine that the areas will have crossed area and we don't support such case for now. 

 

Other than creating 4 separate operations, another easier workaround is leveraging the Pattern function to mirror the toolpath:
