A axis rotation clearance

Hi folks!

I run a 5 axis addon on my small CNC machine, and have got some clearance issues.

First of all check the picture included for a reference.

If I machine the top side of my stock, and want to machine the back side afterwards, I run into clearance issues.

The stock holder will hit my spindle. If I move my x axis to the left, I've got enough clearance to rotate the part over.

This is exactly what I am doing right now, but would love the machine to move over to a safe X before rotating the A axis.

Is there a way to implement this automatically into the code? It would save alot of time for me!

Thanks in advance,

Nick

Would you be able to share your post processor and part file with us (for testing purposes)?

File > Export > Save to local folder, return to thread and attach the .f3d/.f3z file in your reply. For the post, just upload the .cps file here as well

I am sorry. Meant to say rotation of C axis, not the A axis.
