4th axis features incorrectly oriented

Hello,

This is my first 4th axis part and its being made on a Leadwell MV-50i with Fanuc 18i-MB, A-axis indexer. I have G68.2 disabled as it gives an improper gcode alarm. I'm using the Fusion Fanuc post with only modifications for the indexer clamp g code, my machine in my setup is the Autodesk template "YXA table with Z head".

The best instance of this happening is the "front center drill" tool path moving to the correct position while the work piece is oriented incorrectly. It could also be that while it is orienting the part correctly the toolpath is not recognizing these XY changes and keeps the same path instead of adjusting.

Thank you, any advice is appreciated, and yes I am RTFM (reading the Fanuc manual).

The issue was while I had tried to set the machine configuration to flip rotary axis I had not selected it in the post processor menu. to properly configure it though I ended up doing it all manually in the post processor file.

Hi

You should not need to be modifying anything in the post for this, Machine Definitions are the place to be adjusting any Kinematics and behaviors.

Note the if you adjust the machine in the machine library, those changes will not propagate to the machine selected in your setup, you need to either make the changes there too or reselect the machine from the Machine library

Your Machine definition is also not actually using your post processor, but is using the generic machine sim post.

You need to select yours here:

Then you should get the correct output.
