Guten Abend zusammen,

This is how it looked before Christmas:

Fusion 360 keine 3D Druck Symbole so war es mal.png

This is how it looks now:

Fusion 360 keine 3D Druck Symbole.png

the first picture I copied from a video is therefore in English. I can't restore my condition anymore. It's not because of the existing files either. I quickly drew a circle that extruded and created a setup under Make. Here too, unfortunately without success.

Did I miss something with an update or something similar? In advance, THANK YOU for your help.

Heiko

Sorry for Copy the first Block in German. Here  the Englisch Translation:

Good evening everyone,

I just wanted to quickly prepare for the Tevo Tornado in the Fusion 360 Slicer. Unfortunately, after selecting the PP and the settings file, I am missing all the symbols, such as infill, etc., for further processing. Calculate with the current settings from my print file, let yourself be sliced without any problems. Unfortunately, the symbols for changing are completely missing. For positioning are still available.

You should be able to see all the icons if you go ahead and create a setup

Hi Sanjana,

I've been using the Fusion Slicer for 1 year, so of course I know that I have to select a setup, then the printer and then the appropriate profile. Unfortunately, that would have been too easy to be true.

But thanks for looking

These are the basic settings of my print profile, one of which I have with and one without support. I can certainly set a few things there, but unfortunately not everything that I can select in the standard via the buttons that I am missing now. I can configure the infill there but not enter the filling as a % number. Unfortunately, it's exactly the infill I need here.

@F19Aurora

You'll find the infill % in the Basic tab

Hi Sanjana,

oK thanks for the workaround but not what makes the Fusion 360 program different in the standard. I can work with that first. How does it go on now do others have this problem or is it only local for me? Autodesk should record the path here and look at which update the error crept in, even if it was for others.

Thank you for the quick help here in the English-speaking forum.

HI @F19Aurora ,

In the recent Fusion 360 update (which occurred 18th January) we made a change to the way you can edit your print settings.
The additive toolbar will now look something like this:

thomasstock_6-1643029772845.png

Previously you had the following 4 extra icons in the toolbar:

thomasstock_1-1643029250269.png

1. Print setting selector

2. Print setting editor

3. Infill specific print setting editor

4. Support specific print setting editor

In order to improve the user experience we have simplified the workflow and removed duplicatd steps.
The print settings can now only be selected when creating or editing a setup - see below:

For the print settings editor, this can no be done either within the print settings library (found under the "Manage" toolbar group within the additive toolbar), or by selecting "edit" on the print setting itself within the setup - shown below:

As for the infill and support print settings, they can still be fully edited within this print settings edit dialog as they have always been - see below:

Note, expect to find "Infill pattern" & "Infill Density" in the 'Basic' Tab.

Ok and thanks, now I know that the symbols were eliminated due to a slower process so that you can only make your settings in the temporary profile. so the issue is closed for me. I'll pass it on in the German-speaking forum. Nobody there seems to know.

Thank you for everything

Great thanks @F19Aurora !

Note you are still able to make permanent changes to print settings, and this can be done via the 'print setting' library.

You can create you own print settings in your local & cloud folder.

See the image below showing this:

Again, thanks for passing the information on to the German-speaking forum!
