3D cutting with axial and radial offset passes

Hello.

I am migrating from Solidworks\SolidCam and trying to repeat some cuts.

I'm trying to make 3D cutting with a ball end mill tool. Need to do axial and radial offset passes, like on SolidCam screenshot.

On the screenshot from Fusion uses "Trace". But there is no Radial offset passes.

Is it possible to do something similar to screenshot from the SolidCam?

Hi @ewdiejwr ,

Not with Trace I'm afraid, it doesn't give you that option.

I'm not 100% sure I've interpreted well the photos, but are you trying to finish that cavity area without roughing it? If that's the case, then I don't think there is a toolpath that would replicate the one you posted. However, if that's not the case, there's a few 3D toolpaths that would suit the shape well.

Let me know please.

Yes Trace does not fit.

I need to make a roughing it, and then finish on the same principle.

In solidcam there was a processing between the two edges + the choice of the guide + the option to make rough passes that were concentric with the guide.

As far as I understand, in Fusion the "Morph" is identical process. But I can’t do anything similar.

Maybe it will be clearer what I want to do. Schematic geometry for clarity:
