3d adaptive not clearing to defined depth . Tried every thing machine cavities etc........

That's because you have selected the Component of the part instead of the actual body itself. This becomes a problem when a Component contains multiple Models, which, in your case, it does. It's this other hidden model that is telling Fusion: stay away from those areas.
