3D Adaptive Rest Machining Not Working

Is anybody else having trouble with rest machining on 3D adaptive operations? On some files it doesn't seem to be working for me since the latest update. After some experimenting I think it's limited to open pockets.

It's not limited to open pockets. What is the Stock to Leave set at for the first operation in your Screencast?

Stock to leave is .02 in first operation, .005 in second operation.

.02" radial and axial or just radial?

.02 and .005 radial. Zero axial.

Alright I'm not at a computer at the moment but try this: set Tolerance on both operations to .00001" and Flat Area Detection on if it isn't already. I believe this is a tolerance calculation issue that I've run into before in which 3D Adaptive leaves stock on Z (usually very little, under .0002") unless the Tolerance is set very tight.

That did it. I did a little more experimenting and found that the tolerance only needed to be .00001 on the first operation, and flat area detection didn't need to be on. I'm sure that will vary with the part though. Appreciate your help!
