2D Stepover question.

Is there a way to enter stepover in percentages of diameter rather then by decimal value?

I answered in your other post but here it is again.

When you create a new op you've not edited, right click the stepover field and select Edit Expression and you'll get a dialog where you can enter an expression.

The expression will look like this.

Math.max((tool_diameter - (2 * tool_cornerRadius)) * 0.95; tool_diameter * 0.20)

just change the 0.95 to change the percentage you want, 0.5 for 50% for example. If you want to make that your default right click the field again and pick make default.

When we choose "make default"  does it save it for the specific tool or for that operation?

It will save it for that operation. You can experiment and use Reset To-Built in Default if you need to reset.
