2D contour: Face contours selection and then deselect specific contour

Hi,

I need to select a lot of contours in my setup for a 2D contour cut. The easiest way I find, is the Face select option. It seamlessly does what it says and selects everything like a charm. I want now to deselect a few individual contours as I do not need all of the contours.

In the example below I would need to deselect 8 contours after successful face select (the ones with the circular pockets.) Otherwise I would have to select something like 30 contours individually.

I believe (hope) there is soemthing I miss?

try clicking on the ones you don't want.Or find them under the list of chains and delete them

Unfortunately this is not possible, although it would be very handy like you say

The best you can get is selecting all, Outer or Inner loops
