2D Adaptive problem with isolated chain

He used the same 2D Adaptive strategy for a long time.

For some time I have problems with isolated chains.

I make these screenshots to see.

Hi @leonel

One possible solution to this problem is to delete the isolated chain, if it's not needed, or connect it to other lines or shapes in the sketch. This can be done by using sketch tools such as the "line" tool or the "arc" tool to connect the isolated chain to other lines or shapes in the sketch.

Alternatively, you can use another tool or command that does not rely on connected or closed shapes, such as the 2D Freeform tool or the Spline tool, instead of the 2D Adaptive tool.

It's also important to note that some of these issues could be caused by a bad geometry or corrupted sketch, so checking the sketch for any errors and fixing them, could help resolving the problem.

Yes, in the meantime I connect it to other chains. But it is a very bad solution.

Some time ago this worked perfectly, adding the isolated forms to the same chain, like in this screenshot.

But this stopped working after an update.

It's possible that the update you are referring to may have introduced a bug that is causing the issues with the 2D Adaptive tool. In this case, you can try reaching out to Autodesk's support team for assistance. They may be able to provide a solution or a workaround for the problem. Additionally, checking for any new updates or patches for Fusion 360, and installing them, may also help resolve the issue. If the problem persist, you can also try to roll back to a previous version of Fusion 360.

To roll back to a previous version of Autodesk Fusion 360 software, you can use the Autodesk Desktop App. You can find the Autodesk Desktop App in your Windows Start menu or in the Applications folder on your Mac. Once you have the Autodesk Desktop App open, you should see Fusion 360 listed among the products that are installed on your computer. Click on the Fusion 360 icon to open the product details, and then click the Install/Update button. From there, you will be able to select the version of Fusion 360 that you want to install.

Alternatively, you can download the previous version of Fusion 360 from Autodesk website, and install it.

There are Autodesk applications which you can install a previous version but Autodesk Fusion 360 is not one of them.  Fusion 360 is a Cloud deployed application and the installed version is not controlled by the user but is updated automatically when Autodesk posts an update.

2D Freeform? Spline? These are not CAM toolpath options in Fusion, although 2D Adaptive is
