Hi, this idea (https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-manage-ideas/sort-fields-in-classification-manager-for-des...) has been archived with the comment "let's review in the context of the modern interface", but the situation remained the same. So, I'd like to bring this idea back to the table.
The reasons why it is important to sort the properties are:
1. relevance: as mentioned in other posts, relevant properties should be on top
2. consistency: if the property "material" is the second property in one class, it should be also other classes, as the user gets used to having a certain property at a certain place, and inputs the data "blindly"
3. build the description of items out of the classification properties, so the order matters
