Script to trigger when Project Management tab changes
It would be nice if we were able to trigger a script when we edit/save changes to the Project Management -tab. At the moment we're only able to trigger a script opun change of Item Details of the record.
The timing is not quite right for us for this. We are not planning on adding more triggers to the scripting engine in the short or medium term; I'm not going to close it, but I'm moving it to Future Consideration as it is something we would look at once adding more capabilities to the Scripting engine.
This idea was evaluated and it was determined that scripting engine has to be enhanced for better scalability and performance before it can be opened up to more events such as on-edit of grid/BOM.
We acknowledge the value of this enhancement and recognize its potential, however it is not included in the immediate product roadmap. Nevertheless, we would like to keep the idea open for future consideration.
