Save reports as Excel xlsx files

It seems that a recent security update to Excel prevents html based files from being opened in Excel directly.

The report tool in PLM should be updated to reflect this change and output .xlsx files rather than html files.

You can refer to the proposed solution to fix this issue due to the Microsoft recent Update kb3115262.

With the proposed solutions from the post you can continue to use the current format.

We are also working on a new export mechanism that is truly Excel format. If you have access to the Beta program you can test the new Excel format with our Modern UI.
