we currently have our Rev Config settings as Manual.

when adding an Item to a CO that was previously released as rev 0 (zero) and updating the Rev to A the system doesn't recognize the Item as a previous release. so the item on the CO looks like it is an initial release even thought it is not. it would be nice to fix this because it is very ugly explaining this type of issue in an audit.

this seems to be only with an Item of Rev 0 (Zero) to Rev A not just numerical to Alpha Revs

Can you share the same screenshot for the previous (original) CO used to originally release your 077-1707 item?

What is your lifecycle map looks when going to "Active"?

Is it possible that in your lifecycle map you have a path from the "Inital State" to "Active" that does not "Increment Release"?

Hi Richard,

I was able replicate your issue, so you can ignore the previous post.

While we are analysing and coming with a fix, may I suggest that you put 00 instead of 0 in your "To".  That will work as you expected.  The current issue you found is very specific and is only for "0".  If you put any other numeric like 1 , you will get your expected result.

So 00 instead of 0 if possible would be your current workaround.
