The nature of our business means that users tends to have a significant number of items in their outstanding work. The green/orange/red flags i.e. the due date can very quickly become red as the majority of these dues dates are coded as part of the milestone creation.
Often users 'can't see the wood for the trees' in their outstanding work and it becomes difficult to pick out prioritise the truly important tasks. It would be useful therefore if the user could 'tag' items on their outstanding work which would perhaps bring these to the top of the list and signify their importance.
I'm aware of the bookmark function for items but what I am suggesting is slightly different where users can tag important items directly from the outstanding work list. Perhaps adding to "to be done today", "to be done this week" etc.
