Need a place to share custom code with the FLC community

Would be really amazing to use something like GitHub to share the code we create as a community. It would be so helpful to post code and have it reviewed and improved by fellow users.

It would be so much easier than searching the forums for the derived field code that's lost in an obscure forum title.

Truly modular and functional Library scripts could be easily used for new tenants.

Noted John, we will put this request under advisement and discuss the need to tend knowledge sharing of that type. Meantime, this forum channel is our strong community where we share and collaborate on various topics of differing types: questions and observations about in-product features, integrated solutions, even rest api and JS code samples; feel free to post here while we review feasibility of other options. Thank you for this kind post. Cheers,

Thanks Martin. I'm definitely not looking to fragment any knowledge far from this central point. I'm just finding it a bit hard to sometimes to find the best practices that might be buried in a forum thread.

As an example, I write an extremely simple (1 line) browser extension that places the script name into the tab title of your browser. I "wrote" it during AU and thought others might find it useful.

Maybe a forum area where identified best practices, library code, etc gets pinned. Or where a moderator can tag it as best practice, library code, etc.

Just throwing ideas around.

John - have you thought of using https://knowledge.autodesk.com/?  I've used that to share library scripts in an article (as an attachment).  You can contribute and tag - it gets indexed and found in searches.

Hadn't thought about that. This looks like a really good option. 👍
