Modern UI On Hover Toolbars

Can we please get the ability back to open submenus like workspaces without having to click. I already click enough. It might look prettier but I do not find this change more functional. It's one of the many reasons that I have the modern UI currently turned off. I finally don't have to click twice to search but now I have to click 3 more times to get into a submenu.

All of these used to open just by hovering the mouse.

AGREE! We have been in Modern UI for over a year, and this complicated navigation is one of the main feedback items from our end users.

I understand this functionality is to better support touch interfaces, however the vast majority of users will be on a PC or Mac. It would be cleverer for the UI to recognise the browser and device and alter the menu functionality accordingly.

Of course that all sounds easy in my head 🙂

My main beef with the new menu is that it only goes down one layer. As an admin, I can only go as far as System Configuration before I have to open the page first, and then click on Scripting, for example. With the Classic menu, everything is in the menu already.
