Fusion Manage: Update Revision Scheme to Meet ASME Y14.35 Standards

The Fusion Manage revision scheme was developed for an outdated ASME Y14.35 standard. The system does not support revisions after YY and the findings below prove this:

• Fusion Manage allows you to import revisions at AAA and it will move to AAB but once it gets to AAY and a change is performed it doesn't give it a revision (it is blank).
• Once a record gets to YY in Fusion Manage and you run a revision process, the revision becomes "--"

The AMSE Y14.35 standard has been updated to allow for three characters in a revision (e.g. AAA, AAB, ..., AAY, ABA,...) and clients that are up to date on the industry standard need Fusion Manage to be up to date as well.
