I believe this is a functionality issue, not an idea, but the HelpDesk feels there's no issue with this. We are using the Modern UI. The Flat BOM View shows the # Column as 1, 2, 3....etc. These are in a specific order and should coincide with an assembly drawing that has Item bubble callouts, so must always be in the drawings order. When I go to the Nested View, I would expect the same order for the same assembly except it would be 1.1, 1.2, 1.3....etc. The Nested View does not order the Item Number column in the same order. In other words, 1.1 (Nested) should equal 1 (Flat View), but it doesn't. It seems to default to sorting on Quantity (high to low). Is there some reason why the Nested BOM doesn't order the (# column) the same as the Flat BOM?
